Join us for our special children’s program designed to blend faith and fun in a welcoming, hands-on environment. Young participants will embark on an exciting Hajj simulation, where they’ll learn about the sacred journey of Hajj through engaging, age-appropriate activities that bring each ritual to life

Children will walk through the steps of this spiritual pilgrimage in a way that’s both meaningful and memorable. To sweeten the day, kids will enjoy a cupcake decorating station, where they can get creative while celebrating the joy of Eid.
This festive activity encourages self-expression and adds a delicious touch to the celebration. With storytelling, crafts, and interactive learning, this event promises to be a delightful way for children to deepen their understanding of Islamic traditions — all in a fun-filled environment.
While Sakeenah functions at a national level, our head office and The People’s Market operate out of land that is part of the Treaty and Traditional Territory of the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation, The Haudenosaunee Confederacy, the Huron-Wendat and Wyandot Nations.
Sakeenah believes that while a land acknowledgement is the first step, we also understand that land acknowledgements alone are not sufficient to redress the harm caused by centuries of land theft, forced displacement and ongoing acts of settler colonialism. We recognize that this work is ongoing and complex, and we are dedicated to doing our part to create a better future for all.
