Event Information

This online workshop/event is designed to help parents, especially new mothers and caregivers, learn about the emotional and mental health challenges that can occur after childbirth. While many people expect joy after a new baby arrives, it’s also common to experience mood changes, anxiety, or feelings that go beyond what’s often called the “baby blues.”

What you’ll learn:

  • Signs and symptoms to watch for: Including persistent sadness, anxiety, mood swings, and challenges adjusting to new parenthood.

  • Why postpartum mental health matters: Mental health issues after childbirth are common and can affect parents of all genders, not just mothers, and have lasting effects on family well-being if unaddressed.

  • Strategies for support: How and when to reach out for help, what supports are available, and ways partners and caregivers can offer meaningful support.

Who should attend:
Expecting parents, new parents (especially in the first year postpartum), partners, caregivers, and professionals who want a deeper understanding of postpartum mental health.
