About the artist: Zakera was born and raised in Toronto, ON., where she acquired a BA in Political Science from York University. As a full-time mom of 4, with a passion for Arabic calligraphy, she shares her passion by teaching what’s she’s learned with people of all ages from different communities and different cultures. Hoping to inspire others she designs Arabic calligraphy digital art and customizes canvases that portray the beauty of Islam.
