How many of you are always looking for ways to teach your kids the true meaning of Ramadan? Sure, the samosas are tasty and Eid is wonderful, but what about the importance of charity? The importance of helping others and caring for one another? We know how crucial it is to teach our kids these valuable lessons of Islam, but it’s not always easy to convey in an age-appropriate way.
That’s why we’re introducing Sakeenah Superheroes! A new program that launched this Ramadan, focused on empowering our children to give back and help others.
Sign up to receive a Sadaqah coin box mailed directly to your home!
Put the box together and have your kids start putting in a dollar a day. Make sure they ask their friends, neighbours and extended family members to help support those in need!
At the end of Ramadan, open the box and count how much you have collected together (make it a learning activity!). Come back to our website and make the donation for the total amount.
If your child raises over $50, Sakeenah will send them a Superhero Certificate via email!
Please email the receipt to sakeenahsuperheroes@sakeenahcanada.com with your child’s first and last name so we know who to send the certificate to!
